⭐ Typing & Editing Service Policy Paladin Studio Production 1. Scope of Services Paladin Studio Production provides the following professional services: Typing & transcription of handwritten or dictated material Line editing for clarity, flow, and readability Developmental editing for structure, pacing, and story logic Manuscript formatting for digital or print publishing All editing is performed by a human editor, supported by professional tools such as Microsoft Word’s Copilot to assist with clarity, structure, and formatting. Every creative decision is made by a human. 2. Submission Requirements Clients must provide: Clear, readable source material (handwritten pages, notes, or digital files) Any reference documents, style preferences, or formatting requirements A description of the project’s genre, tone, and intended audience Files may be submitted in Word, Google Docs, PDF, or scanned images. 3. Turnaround Time Turnaround time varies based on project length and complexity. Estimated timelines will be provided after reviewing the material. Rush projects may incur an additional fee. 4. Pricing & Payment Pricing is based on the posted rates: Typing: $0.05/word or $45/hour Line Editing: $0.06–$0.08/word Developmental Editing: $0.10–$0.15/word Formatting: $250–$600 A 30% deposit is required to begin work. Remaining balance is due upon delivery of the completed manuscript. 5. Revisions Each service includes one round of revisions within 14 days of delivery. Additional revisions may be requested at an hourly rate. 6. Confidentiality All manuscripts, notes, and client materials are kept strictly confidential. Paladin Studio Production does not share, publish, or distribute client work. 7. AI Usage Transparency AI tools (Microsoft Word Copilot) may be used to assist with: Structural suggestions Formatting cleanup Grammar and clarity checks AI tools do not replace human judgment, voice protection, or editorial decision‑making. 8. Refund Policy Deposits are non‑refundable once work has begun. If a project is canceled before completion, the client will be billed for work completed up to that point. 9. Final Delivery Completed manuscripts are delivered in Word or Google Docs format. Formatting projects may include PDF or print‑ready files upon request. 10. Client Responsibility Clients are responsible for reviewing all edits and approving final changes before publication.
